NoeudCoulePas leaves the player in a kind of open world. It has several actions to its disposal and can test their consequences. The thematic focus is on crossing boundaries, in all the meanings it can have. What sense can be found from this?
At the base of the game are drawings. Each drawing makes a scene. Through processing, colors are given specific rules. Black define the wall, pink/purple the characters, yellow consumable items. I took a "systemic" approach when developing the game, with the aim of allowing unexpected behaviour and combination of game mechanics. The motto is to "break the limits".
The soundtrack is made by mashing and layering different released music tracks together, in a punk spirit.
The game is currently in development using OpenFL.
